Our client requires an experinenced VB SQL Consultant, see spec below: Technical support of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems (WNT*VB*SQL server): troubleshooting of soft-and hardware: analysis, diagnose, solving, correction. maintenance of the application: debugging, improvements and changes, tests, version management, security Development of the documentation and maintaining it. help desk for the users and corrections of user faults. education and training of the users System support for the SAP R*3 and the SCADA systems (VB, SQL server, SAP R*3) Start up* follow up of operation* shut down (SAP R*3 and SCADA) Analysis and log management (SAP R*3 and SCADA) Backup (SAP R*3 and SCADA) Storage management (SAP R*3 and SCADA) Restore and recovery (SCADA) Archiving (SCADA) SQL server dbase management (SCADA) Jobs management (WNT, SCADA, SQL server) Analysis and optimisation of the soft and hardware performance (SCADA, SQL server) Security (SCADA, SQL server) Installation, software version and patches management (SCADA, SQL server) Development of the documentation and maintaining it. Maintaining other VB, VBA, SQL server MS Excell, MS Access applications within the SAP project environment.
